Visiting the Farmer's Market today, I couldn't resist the giant bunch of Cilantro for only $1.50. I thought, "how can I make a cocktail with this?"
I muddled a large bunch of Cilantro in a mixing glass with lime juice, simple syrup & some cubed cucumber. Added some Angostura Orange Bitters and Gin. Shook it hard with some ice. Double stained into a chilled Coupe Glass. Great Fresh Flavors in this Summery Cocktail!
Large Bunch Cilantro - (soak in cold water to remove any dirt)
1/4 Cup Cucumber - Cubed
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup (1:1)
2 oz Gin
3-4 Drops Angostura Orange Bitters
Muddle Cilantro, Cucumber, Lime Juice & Simple Syrup in a mixing glass.
Add Gin and Bitters.
Double Strain into a Chilled Coupe Glass.
Enjoy outside in the late afternoon sunshine with good friends and good music.
