New Yorkers may have not have the most, um, HOSPITABLE reputation (especially those from NYC) but when disaster strikes, we pitch in to help those in need. The New York based Bartender Journey team would like to thank everyone that has been helping with relief efforts and we'd like to announce two events next week that you can attend if you are in the NY/NJ area to benefit our friends impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma and a bar in the Lower East Side taking item donations for friends impacted by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
NYC LOVES TX + FL HURRICANES BENEFIT
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at Pier A Harbor House
4 to 8 PM (VIP Admission - 3 to 4 PM)
NYC's food and beverage communities unite to help those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Your ticket gives you unlimited beverages and bites and 100% of the proceeds (both ticket sales and auction items) go to The John Besh Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization whose teams on the ground have a significant number of bartenders and chefs keeping people fed while helping to rebuild homes and businesses. To date, more than 20,000 meals have been served.
3 pm Event Kick-off at 3 pm featuring VIP Hour of Martinis & Oysters presented by VDKA 6100,
4 pm The Main Event featuring the DJ skills of Tomas De Los Reyes and DJ & producer Jillionaire (owner of Williamsburg's newest hot spot, Clyde's), pop-ups of New York's finest culinary and bartending talent from 25+ restaurants and bars, including but not limited to Basík, BlackTail, Blind Barber, Boulton and Watt, Clover Club, Clyde’s, Coup, Daddy-O, Dante, Drexler’s, Employees Only, FLAGSHIP Montauk, Ladybird, Leyenda, Llama Inn, Loverboy, Nitecap, Porchlight, Pouring Ribbons, Rosé Bar Provided by SevenFifty Daily, Suffolk Arms, Sundays in Brooklyn, Sweetwater Social, The Dead Rabbit, The Raines Law Room and Underdog.

Donate items to Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico at Suffolk Arms
Suffolk Arms will ensure they are brought to relief centers shipping them directly to Puerto Rico .
